City Of Decatur Administration issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.
#IDOT says the bridge carrying U.S. 36 over U.S. 51 (near the Decatur Conference Center) set to reopen by Friday, Nov. 16.
A marked detour remains in place to guide motorists around the closure. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area.
