DeWitt County approves $10 million in school bonds

DeWitt County passed both referendums on its Nov. 6 ballot.  

Voters were in favor of the Mt. Pulaski Community Unit No.23 School District referendum, a proposition to issue $10 million in school building bonds.

With 100 percent of the votes counted, two voters were in favor and one was opposed.

Voters were also in favor of the Chester East Lincoln CCSD 61 Question to remove area-of-residency restrictions for school board members.

With 100 percent of the votes counted, eight were in favor and none were opposed.
