Village of Oreana Board met Jan. 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Aaron Keathley.

Roll Call

Trustee Ballard Absent; Trustee Runyen Present

Trustee Fogerson Present; Trustee Bruns Present

Trustee Hiser Present; Trustee Donath Present

Mayor Keathley Present; Attorney Weatherford Present

Clerk Kirby Present

Mayor Keathley declared a quorum present.

Consent Agenda:

A motion was made by Trustee Bruns, seconded by Trustee Runyen to accept the Consent Agenda.

Bills: $27,464.54

Income: $48,179.79

Minutes from the December 10, 2018 meeting.

A general discussion was held. A roll call vote was taken.

Trustee Ballard Absent; Trustee Runyen Yes

Trustee Fogerson Yes; Trustee Bruns Yes

Trustee Hiser Yes; Trustee Donath Yes

Mayor Keathley declared Motion Carried.

Administrative Reports:

Clerk – None

Treasurer – Sherry stated that tax forms went out. Also there are direct deposit forms in office if anyone needs one.

Attorney – Weatherford handed out packets about being on the board if anyone wanted the info. Weatherford also stated that he sent notice out to abate 355 N Rt. 48 for cars being on road.

Engineer- None

Committee Reports:

Health, Zoning and Water – Mayor Keathley stated that the chlorine form was addressed and taken care of.

Street, Police and Parks – Warrensburg Police department donated a laptop and we would no longer have to purchase one for the squad car.

Public Comment:

Old Business: None

New Business: None

The first item on the Agenda is the Approval of proposal to demolish the pump station on Midway Road.

A motion was made by Trustee Bruns seconded by Trustee Donath to approve of proposal to demolish the pump station on Midway Road.

A general discussion was held. A roll call vote was taken.

Trustee Fogerson Yes; Trustee Bruns Yes

Trustee Hiser Yes; Trustee Donath Yes

Mayor Keathley declared Motion Carried.

The second item on the Agenda is Approval of contract with Chastain and Associates for the Oreana Park Walk Path. Mayor Keathley stated no action on this would be taken at this time due to needing to be discussed.

Mayor Keathley declared Motion Carried.

Adjournment

A motion was made by Trustee Bruns to adjourn, Seconded by Donath.

A voice vote was taken. Yes-6, No-0. Mayor Keathley declared the motion carried and the meeting adjourn.
