mayor candidate Kara Demirjian Huss returns $1,000 contribution from David & Terri Rathje

The campaign committee of mayor candidate Kara Demirjian Huss, Friends of Kara Demirjian Huss, returned a $1,000 contribution from David & Terri Rathje on Jan. 10, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor or because contribution limits have been reached. Rathje has not made any other contributions to Kara Demirjian Huss in the past 12 months.
