Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in De Witt County?

There were five offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that live in De Witt County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Macon Reporter.

The data shows that four men and one woman were released in De Witt County. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2016, and the oldest was a 49-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Eula R. Mikola. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when she was 45 years old. She is now 49.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2019 in each De Witt County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
