Blue Mound Countryside Fire Protection District responded to 29 calls in 2018, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Blue Mound Countryside included 18 fires - six structure fires, four vehicle fires and eight other fires. The fire department also responded to three calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $331,000 in fire loss - or about $18,389 per fire.

The department also received eight false calls.
