Bethany Fire Protection District issued the following announcement on Jan. 28.
We are excited to finally post our newest addition. We have had Car 1 for about a month now but it is finally lettered, licensed, and complete! We purchased Car 1 with funds that were allocated for the district through a program. This purchase was little to no out of pocket expense to the department. Due to increased call volumes (COVID related calls) and having equipment retired, this unit will help utilize the vehicles and abilities of the district while ensuring calls are covered. This unit is IDPH Licensed BLS Non-Transport.
