Oreana Public Library issued the following announcement on June 14.
On Friday, June 11, 2021, the Governor has announced that Illinois is now in Phase 5. AOPLD’s new policy is as follows:
Masks are required for all children under the age of 12 and for those that are not fully-vaccinated. Masks are encouraged for those fully-vaccinated and 12 years of age or older. If you visit the library and choose not to wear a mask, you are affirming that you are fully-vaccinated.
We encourage you to continue to social distance and to utilize hand sanitizer when visiting the library. Please remember that June and July are Summer Reading months and that unvaccinated children may be in the building when you visit.
