Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met Aug. 24.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

President, David Munson, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:30 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Colleen Dickerson, RJ McKenzie, David Munson, Clay Sellmeyer, Nathan Wentworth, Victoria Williams and David Zazke.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Nathan Wentworth to adjourn to closed meeting at 6:32 p.m.

The administration present consisted of Laura Wentworth, Allison Nolen and Paul Hoffman.

Others presente consisted of Recording Secretary. Teresa Bailey: and visitors Middle School Track, Pam Bonds, Greg Hale and Julia Long.

President, David Munson calls the regular meeting to order at 6:40 p.m.

President, David Munson, asked if there was any public recognition at which time Mr. Paul Hoffman spoke regarding MS Track Team.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. Nathan Wentworth to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, special meeting minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye.Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to approve the bills for payment for August 2022 as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Teresa Bailey presented information regarding Monthly Financial Updates.

Mr. Keith Hackl and Mr. Chris Reed presented information regarding Summer Maintenance Projects Overview.

Information was presented regarding Superintendent’s Evaluation Tool.

Mrs Teresa Bailey presented information regarding Preliminary FY 23 Budget.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mrs.Victoria Williams to approve the August 2022 personnel addendum as presented and pending satisfactory background checks. All members present voted aye.Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to reaffirm IL Rte 121 is a safety hazard for children walking to school and therefore requires bus transportation for students on the east side of the highway.All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Information was presented regarding District Enrollment Reports.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr.Nathan Wentworth to approve the IASB update to Policy 7:270 as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mr.Nathan Wentworth and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to adjourn the August 24, 2022 meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD#11 Board of Education at 8:07 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
