Moultrie County Consolidated Election Day is one week away, on April 4

Moultrie County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 72 candidates will compete for 27 municipal offices, including six contests for city and village, 12 for park, fire and library boards and nine for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Moultrie County Consolidated Election, it had 8,613 registered voters and 1,459 cast ballots, or 16.94 percent.

In the 2019 Moultrie County Consolidated Election, it had 8,698 registered voters and 2,336 cast ballots, or 26.86 percent.
