Dr. Lisa Smith, a candidate for the Republican nomination for the 96th District seat in the House of Representatives, has previously vied for this position in the 2022 election.
In a Facebook post dated March 6, Dr. Smith shared an image of herself alongside Mike Lindell, founder of MyPillow. She expressed her views on election integrity by stating, "Election integrity, there’s no bigger problem. Why? Because if we don’t have election integrity, there’s no way to get the corrupt politicians out of office, so we can fix our country. God bless Mike Lindell for taking on this issue.Venue 1929."
On March 7, she posted another photograph from the event with Lindell and asserted: "This time we have woken up to the dirty tactics of the Democrats! Let’s get busy and make our elections honest again! Save our Republic! Go vote in 2024, overwhelm the polls, take Illinois back."
