PERSONS TO ADDRESS THE BOARD / PUBLIC COMMENT:

*Tim Gadbury, the Director of Piatt County Public Transportation-Piattran- to speak about transportation services for DeWitt County provided through Piattran.

*Mike Nelson from Frontier- to discuss an opportunity to secure funding that would provide broadband access for unserved and underserved areas within DeWitt County.

*Motion to approve the September 19, 2024, County Board meeting minutes. APPOINTMENTS:

LAND USE: Report given by Mr. Carter. For discussion and possible action: *No Recommendations.

PUBLIC SAFETY: Report given by Mrs. Myers. For discussion and possible action: *No Recommendations.

PROPERTY: Report given by Mr. Ferguson. For discussion and possible action: *No Recommendations.

ROAD AND BRIDGE: Report given by Mr. Prestegaard. For discussion and possible action: *Did Not Meet. Meeting Cancelled.

MARINA: Report given by Mr. Matthews. For Discussion and possible action: *Did Not Meet. Meeting Cancelled.

FINANCE: Report given by Mrs. Tilley. For Discussion and possible action: *Motion to pay all bills.

*Motion to rescind action last month concerning 5% increase in personnel line items in all budgets and utilize existing wage scale as a guide for new hires.

*Motion to adopt new wage schedule for nonunion hourly employees for one year. *Motion to put the proposed FY25 budget on display.

OLD AND/OR NEW BUSINESS: For Discussion and possible action:

*Motion to approve Resolution Amending The County Clerk Predictable Fee Schedule.

*Motion to approve the Resolution for the DeWitt County Board to participate in the service program of the Office of the State’s Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor commencing December 1, 2024, and ending November 30, 2025, for the sum of $10,000.

*Motion to approve Case S268-2024- a request for a special use to construct a tower for internet service. Both the RPC and ZBA unanimously recommended approval. *Motion to approve Case A40-2024-a text amendment to Chapter 155 – Zoning to include a definition for Agritourism and to allow in all zoning districts. Both the RPC and ZBA unanimously recommended approval.

*Motion to approve Case S267-2024 – maximum 100 site campground at Clinton Lake Marina. *Motion to approve Clinton Lake Sailing Association’s (CLSA) proposal of use of the Sailboat Fund.
