Last night, a chapter closed for the Illinois House as a long-serving representative bid farewell. After six years of service, the representative expressed gratitude to their constituents and the House for the opportunity to serve.
In their final remarks on the floor, they announced that Rep. Regan Deering will be taking over responsibilities for the 88th District. Deering comes with experience as an educator, small business owner, community advocate, and parent. The outgoing representative expressed confidence in her commitment to work diligently for the people of Illinois.
The departing member concluded by welcoming Rep. Deering and wishing her success in her new role.
