Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met Dec. 18.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Munson, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Greg Hale Jr., RJ McKenzie, David Munson and David Zaske.

Absent: Clay Sellmeyer, Chris Wentworth and Victoria Williams.

Staff Communication (Informational) - WLES Cardinal Connection

President David Munson convened the Truth In Taxation Hearing.

Mrs. Kirsten Perkins provided a review of the purpose of the hearing.

President David Munson asked if there is any public comment at which time there was none. President David Munson adjourned the Truth In Taxation hearing at 6:22 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, special meeting minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to approve the December 2024 bills as presented for payment. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Kirsten Perkins presented information regarding the Monthly Financial Update.

A motion was made by Mr. RJ McKenzie and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the hire of WLMS Assistant Wrestling Coach, Michael Call, effective immediately, pending satisfactory background check and employment history review. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by RJ McKenzie and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the 2025-2026 WLHS Course Catalog. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the IASB Press 117 updates as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the resolution in support of Illinois Vision 2030 as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to retain all executive session minutes as closed from June 2024-December 2024. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to adjourn the December 18, 2024 meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD#11 Board of Education at 7:03 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Next meeting is January 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
