Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met Feb. 26.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Munson, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Greg Hale Jr., David Munson, Victoria Williams and David Zaske.

Absent: RJ McKenzie and Chris Wentworth.

Pledge of Allegiance - WLES Student Salute - Addison Williams & Liam Gray.

Staff Communication (Informational) - WLHS Link Crew Update.

President David Munson asked if there was any public comment at which time there was none.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to adjourn to closed meeting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a) the appointment , employment compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the School District and its employees; c) student disciplinary cases; d)pending or threatened litigations; e) approval of certain closed session minutes for distribution to the public; f) or other matters appropriate for a closed session meeting pursuant to the Open Meetings Act. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams. and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, special meeting minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the February 2025 bills,as presented, for payment. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Cheryl Warner presented information regarding the Monthly Financial Update.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the hire of Speech Language Pathologist, Abigail Elston, as presented for the 2025-2026 academic year pending satisfactory background checks. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve the hire of Custodian, Jeffrey Hemingway, as presented and pending satisfactory background checks.. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve Medical leave for Custodian, Greg Wallace, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr.to approve HS/MS Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach, Braden Martin, as presented and pending satisfactory background checks.All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr.to approve HS Volunteer Assistant Softball Coach, Taylor Young, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to renew Allison Nolen as the High School Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale to renew Bret Reedy as the High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director for the 2025-2026 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to renew Paul Hoffman as the Middle School Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. lay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to renew Laura Wentworth as the Elementary School Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to renew Nat Dorgan as the Elementary School Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to renew Chris Reed as the Director of Technology for the 2025-2026 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve the Spring/Summer Facility & Infrastructure Projects as recommended. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the fuel quote from Big B Agro for gasoline and diesel fuel as recommended. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the memorandum of Understanding between Warrensburg-Latham Board of Education and Warrensburg-:Latham Education Association for Tuition Reimbursement for Obtaining a Driver’s Education Endorsement. All members present voted.aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Warrensburg-Latham Board of Education and Warrensburg-:Latham Education Association for Placement of Speech Language Pathologists, School Social Workers & School Counselors on the Salary Schedule. All members present voted.aye. Motion carried.

Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to adjourn the February 26, 2025 meeting of the Warrenburg-Latham CUSD#11 Board of Education at 8:35 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
