Arthur Public Library District Board met July. 21.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Present: President Allen, Trustees Fritz, Singer, Stewart, Yoder; Director Pruitt. Yeakel arrived at 6:10 p.m.
Meeting was called to order by President Allen at 6:04 p.m.
No visitors comments.
June minutes were approved on a motion by Stewart, second by Singer after Yeakel's arrival.
Treasurer's report was approved on a motion by Stewart, second by Yoder.
Director's report - Kelsey Pruitt
1) Office project. Proposal from Reifsteck Wakefield and Fanning for work to be done not to exceed
$6,500. Approved on a motion by Singer, second by Stewart.
2) Adult Playaway collection development was discussed. (see list)
3) Minutes committee. Cathy Allen and Beth Singer will review the minutes for the past year.
The bills were approved on a motion by Yoder, second by Yeakel.
Committee report.
The Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for fiscal year 2025-2026 was passed and approved via a roll call vote.
New business
A couple of the staff members plan to attend First Night at Arthur Grade School on August 12.
Annual library crawl is coming up.
Trunk or Treat is October 25. Possible plan to participate?
