Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met Sept. 17.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

Williams, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:02 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Greg Hale Jr., RJ McKenzie, David Munson, Clay Sellmeyer, Chris Wentworth, Victoria Williams and David Zaske.

Pledge of Allegiance - WLES Student Salute - Jeremiah Sibthorp & Mazey Robertson.

Information was presented regarding WLHS Green Club by Madison Jackson, Allison Cushing, Sophia Allen and Zeta Johnson. .

President Victoria Williams Convenes the FY26 budget hearing at 6:04 pm.

Mrs. Kirsten Perkins presented information regarding budget presentation with the Budget Summary. President Victoria Williams asked if there was any public comment at which time there was none. President Victoria Williams adjourned the FY26 budget hearing at 6:09 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Chris Wentworth and seconded by Mr. David Zaske to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Chris Wentworth to approve the August 29, 2025 Quick Pay Bills, September 4 Quick Pay Bills and September 2025 bills, as presented, for payment. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Muson to approve the resignation of WLES Lunch/Recess Supervisor, Ellyn Binkley, effective immediately.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the hire of WLMS Cheer Coach, Abbi Elston, for 2025-2026 effective immediately, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Superintendent Cheryl Warner presented information regarding Administrator & Teacher Salary Benefit Report 2025.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Zaske to approve the QFB Energy Contract as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the Risk Management Plan as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Superintendent Cheryl Warner presented information regarding the Annual Review of Board Policy 5:90 - Abused & Neglected Child Reporting

Vice President David Munson presented information regarding the District Safety Committee Update.

Mrs. Cherl Warner, Mr. Brett Stock and Mr. Chris Reed presented information regarding District Facility & Infrastructure Committee Update.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to approve the FY26 fall/winter facility/infrastructure projects as presented. All members voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Kirsten Perkins presented information regarding Monthly Financial Update. Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mr. Chris Wentworth and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale to adopt the FY26 budget as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale to approve the September 17, 2025 meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD#11 Board of Education at 7:20 pm. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Next meeting is October 15, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
