Clinton Community Unit School District 15 Board of Education met Aug. 12.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Special meeting of the Board of Education of Clinton Community Unit School District No. 15 of the counties of DeWitt, Macon and Logan, State of Illinois, was held at 6:30pm, August 12, 2019 in the board room of the Clinton School District Unit Office, 1210 State Route 54 West, Clinton, Illinois.

Upon roll call the following members were present:

Mrs. Sondra Baker

Mrs. Tammie Ennis

Mr. Chris Hammer

Mr. Dan Matthews

Mr. Rodney Rogers

Absent:

Mr. Cole Ritter

Administrators present were:

Mr. Curt Nettles, Superintendent of Schools

FILL BOARD POSITION

Discuss filling the vacant board seat.

CLOSED SESSION

It was moved by Chris Hammer, seconded by Rodney Rogers, to enter into closed session for the purpose of discussing filling the vacant board seat. The President put the motion to a vote and the following roll call was taken:

Baker, yea

Ennis, yea

Hammer, yea

Matthews, yea

Rogers, yea

Motion carried.

The Board entered into closed session at 6:28 pm and returned at 7:27 pm.

CLOSE OF CLOSED SESSION

It was moved by Tammy Ennis, seconded by Chris Hammer,

to close the closed session. The President put the motion to a

vote and the following roll call was taken:

Baker, yea

Ennis, yea

Hammer, yea

Matthews, yea

Rogers, yea

Motion carried.

TABLE ACTION

It was moved by Dan Matthews, seconded by Rodney Rogers to table this action until the special meeting on August 19, 2019. The President put the motion to a vote and the voice vote was 5 “yea.”

ADJOURNMENT

It was moved by Rodney Rogers, seconded by Chris Hammer and duly voted by acclamation to adjourn at 7:30 pm.
